The Board of Directors of OKP Holdings Limited (the "Company") wishes to announce that the following tenders by Eng Lam Contractors Co (Pte) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had been accepted by the Land Transport Authority:
Contract 1: RP180C - Ad Hoc Repairs and Upgrading of Roads, Road Related Facilities and Road Structures in Central Sector For A Period of 39 Months
Total contract sum: $19,400,000
Contract period: 3 May 2010 to 2 August 2013
Contract 2: RP180NW - Ad Hoc Repairs and Upgrading of Roads, Road Related Facilities and Road Structures in North-West Sector For A Period of 39 Months
Total contract sum: $14,900,000
Contract period: 3 May 2010 to 2 August 2013
The aggregate value for the two contracts amounted to $34,300,000.
The contracts are expected to contribute positively to, but have no material impact on, the earnings per share or net tangible assets per share of the Company for the current financial year ending 31 December 2010.
None of the Directors has any interest, direct or indirect, in the contracts. As far as the Directors are aware, none of the controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the contracts.
