The Board of Directors of OKP Holdings Limited ("the Company") wishes to announce that the tender for Improvement to Old Roadside Drains in Kembangan Estate by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Or Kim Peow Contractors (Private) Limited, has been accepted by the Public Utilities Board subject to the execution of the formal contract.
The amount of the tender is SGD5,537,000.00 and the commencement of works is scheduled on 1 August 2002. The project is expected to be completed by 31 July 2004.
The project is expected to contribute positively to the net tangible assets and earnings of the Company and its subsidiaries for the current financial year ending 31 December 2002.
