Clarification On Last Day of Lodgement Of Transfers

We refer to the Company's announcement on 11 April 2003 on its Notice of Books Closure.

As 11 May 2003 falls on a Sunday, the Company wishes to clarify that duly completed registrable transfers received by the Company's Share Registrar, Lim Associates (Pte) Ltd at 10 Collyer Quay #19-08 Ocean Building, Singapore 049315 up to 5.00 p.m. on 9 May 2003 (Friday), a trading day, will be registered to determine shareholders' entitlements to such dividend.

Members whose Securities Accounts with The Central Depository (Pte) Limited are credited with shares at 5.00 p.m. on 9 May 2003 will be entitled to the proposed dividend.
